im getting the error
warning: '/proc/partitions' does not match'dev' directorystructure.
namechange: '/dev/ide/host0/bus0/targeto/lun0/disk' -> '/dev/hda"
the kernel was compiled with DEVFS_FS,but'devfs=mount' was
omitted as kernel-command line boot parameter; hence, the'/dev'directory
structure does not reflect DEVFS_FS devicename.
added gentoo *
added windows
when installing
can anyone help me? |

Probably means you did not bind-mount the devfs when you entered the chroot.
See the Handbook for that.
If you test the lilo config with
it should tell you more. _________________ >>> emerge (3 of 7) mcse/70-293 to /

I think you can safely ignore this warning. Try rebooting and see if it works. If not, you can always use the LiveCD to get back in and fix whatever's broken. _________________ Behold, The power of SEARCH! |
