i have a Mojo 265 F. i don't know if anyone is familiar with it, it's an mp3 player from TDK. i was wondering if anyone knows a whay to get it to work with linux. i was going to mount it (just like every usb storage device), but there is no device to mount. example. my digital camera that i cannect with usb wire, gets mounted from /dev/sda1. the same device doesn't exist when the mp3 player gets pluged in.
When i plug it in here is the output of the dmesg:
hub 2-0:1.0: new USB device on port 1, assigned address 4
when unpluged:
usb 2-1: USB disconnect, address 4
ideas anyone? |

A friend of mine has an mp3 player that he did not manage to get working with linux. That is the only reason why he is still using Windows .
I would suggest to take a look at the tdk-webpage, if you haven't done this already. Maybe you can find some information there.
There should be a way to get it working; even for my friends player. |

I've never used anything like this, so it may not work, but do you have USB file system enabled in your kernel? I always *thought* (never tried) that compiling this in would give you more choices in /dev or something, but i'm only guessing ![Smile :)](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) _________________ Zak: Luke's making a 3D interface for Linux"
