I know this has shown up in many other posts (some of which are mine) but I still can't seem to get my touchpad mouse to do anything in linux. I am using gentoo-dev sources kernel 2.6.1-rc1. I have enabled event file system but the only thign listed in the /dev/input is event0 and mice (event0 is keyboard and mice does jack), anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

ok well I don't knwo what it is, but I am now using kernel 2.4.22, so I will try with another 2.6 kernel later, but for now I quit
