| cfq scheduler does not seem to be the problem here. Same problem persists with other schedulers as well, so it looks like an IDE detection problem, perhaps. |

The booting hangs aren't related to floppy. It's an issue with that mm. Upgrade to the latest love and you should be just fine.

what about the bootsplash hang? i have Love-sources 2.6.3_rc3-love2
it only occurs when the initrd is loaded. |

That's exactly what happens with 2.6.3-mm to me. The schedulers are fine. |

That's exactly what happens with 2.6.3-mm to me. The schedulers are fine. |
There's a new bootsplash patch in the latest love-sources that should fix it.
