|
|
Hi
first try with qmail-inject (like the doc says):
Code: |
qmail-inject root <<EOF
> test
>EOF
mutt
|
but there is no mail?
looking in the logs i saw that qmail always sends the mail as remote not as local
e.g.
sending root@hostname.myhost.com (and hostname.myhost.com is in the /etc/hosts)
is in a remote mail 'folder'
any ideas...
tried to turn off iptables, but no solution
root mail is set to the working user |

Are you operating a 2nd or 3rd level domain? I presume 3rd from the composition of the address.
The qmail hotwo in the Gentoo docs area describes how to set the files in /var/qmail/control for a 3rd level domain. Double check those as that's the most likely scenario.
Cheers,
