I am using Konqueror, that is comming whit KDE, and its just fine . Most of all the features that was using from the other are in there.

Try out gftp if you like.... or console based, try ncftp.

There are tons of X11 FTP clients mentioned at freshmeat, many of which probably don't have ebuilds yet, but compilation by hand is typically really easy. And that's by no means a full list. Play around with the filters and you'll get more. (And of course there are clients that just aren't in Freshmeat, too, but I'll let someone else tackle a list of those...) |

Also note that even if you use fluxbox, you can still run KDE programs on your machine. I just took a look at kbear (because your question got me wondering what kind of graphical clients there are), which looked cool and has an ebuild. You could emerge that, I'd probably just install kde-libs, and you'd be able to use it inside fluxbox. Of course, if you didn't want KDE because you don't want to spend the hard drive space or processor time to compile it, then I suppose KDE clients are, indeed, out of the question. :) |
