The title says it all.
I have emerged xfree and kde with "-gnome -gtk" in my USE, can I still use mozilla/firfox? I believe mozilla/firfox uses gtk.
Any ideas? |

The USE flag you're interested with firefox is gtk2. Yes, you can install it fine.
I don't think any of the 3 g-flags have any bearing on xfree at all. I don't know about kde, but it won't stop you from installing firefox regardless.
You can always do "emerge -vp package" to see what flags it cares about. _________________ obpiper: pipe menu generator for openbox

You misunderstand USE flags. They only have a bearing on OPTIONAL features of packages. firefox REQUIRES gtk, so it will use it whether or not you have -gtk or not.
-gnome has nothing to do with firefox because firefox isn't a gnome app at all. _________________ what up |
