Ich habe seit gestern Gnome installiert und kde rausgeworfen , lief alles gut, nur heute morgen wollte ich das Terminal in Gnome starten und bekomm einen Fehler, der da heisst
There was a problem with the command for this terminal: Text was empty (or contained only whitespace)
Weiss nicht was gemeint ist damit
kann mir jemand sagen was ich machen muss und woher der Fehler kommt |

hallo,
ein bißchen mehr infos bitte. welche gnome version? welche kernel version (kann nie schaden )? Welches Terminal? (gnome-terminal, xterm, aterm ...)

Ich benutze Kernel 2.6.1 und will das gnome-terminal benutzern, aterm läuft
gnome-terminal lief bis ich neugestartet habe, dann kam eben dieser Fehler,habe gnome-terminal mal runter geworfen und wieder geladen dasselbe problem |

My German is very poor, so I won't insult you all by even trying, but I know enough to get the gist of you problem. You need to compile the 2.6.x series of kernels with "/dev/pts file system for Unix98 PTYs". it is found in File systems -> Pseudo filesystems when you run "make menuconfig". _________________ -Regards-
