try this:
x11-themes/gtk-theme-switch
there is switch 2 and 1 , for gtk2 and 1 resp. _________________ linux: #232767 |

I'm still searching how to change the KDE themes without installing KDE... (Its QT basically, but qtconfig does NOT work. When I change that theme, apps like K3B, kBear and kate don't change at all. Apps like DCGui-QT do change, but I want the kde apps to change their friggin' skin! |

You can install kde-base/kdebase for kcontrol without pulling in the whole of KDE. |
