Hallo,
ich habe mir vor kurzem eine Radeon 8500DV zugelegt. Mein X-Server
läuft problemlos nur Opengl will nicht.
nach dem emergen der ati-drivers hab ich ein
ausgeführt.
Wenn ich jetzt eine OpenGL-Anwendung ausführe, beispielsweise

Trace/Breakpoint ausgelöst

kommt diese Meldung.
Ich habe mir die XFree86.0.log und dmesg angesehen die Karte wird
richtig erkannt und die Module (dri, glx, fglrx) werden alle ohne Fehlermeldung geladen.
Was ist falsch?

Ich hab Kernel 2.6.1-r1, hab da auch, zumindest glaube ich das, den dri support in den Kernel eingebunden, den Support für ATI allerdings nur als
Modul.
Für Tips wäre ich dankbar
Die Gatos Treiber hab ich noch nicht ausprobiert, will aber da das eine AIW
ist natürlich auch irgendwann mal TV glotzen. Wenn da also jemand Erfahrung mit hat, wäre ich auch hier für ein paar Tips dankbar. |

Hi,
Das gleiche Problem habe ich irgendwie auch.
"startx" lässt sich ohne Probleme ausführen.
Aber wenn ich KDE starten will, bricht das immer ab.
Ich hab bis jetzt leider noch keine Lösung gefunden.
