I'm trying to set up an anonymous proxy server on my gentoo box. On the website that I got the cgi script from says that all you have to do is put it on a webserver and call on it. http://www.jmarshall.com/tools/cgiproxy/
Whenever I call on it I get this error
Code: |
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /nph-proxy.cgi on this server.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Apache/2.0.48 (Gentoo/Linux) Server at russbox.sytes.net Port 80 |
It's a perl script and when I use perl to access it, it works properly, but I can't access it with apache, which is the whole point of the script.
Thanks in advance for any help[/code] _________________ System Specs

I don't have a whole lot of experience with apache but I think you may want to check your apache.conf and make sure you allow CGI scripts to be run. |
