hello everybody,
my sendmail is sending me status msg about rsync. but i won't have it.
how can i say sendmail not to send msg from rsync?

dont know why you are running sendmail via cron, but:
"sendmail >/dev/null 2>&1"
should send you the errors only. |

Sendmail is just a delivery agent. Something is telling it to send you the message, that is what you need to address. From your subject line, I would guess that there is a cron job that is unwanted?

Sendmail is just the postman, dont blame him. He delivers whatever he is told to. Sounds to me like rsync/rsyncd is sending you the mail. |
