kinda new to the linux deal but i some how i got a picture in tvtime. No sound and the picture i get is horrible and all my channels are off by one. and i have to do sudo tvtime or i get
Reading configuration from /etc/tvtime/tvtime.xml
Reading configuration from /home/chris/.tvtime/tvtime.xml
videoinput: Cannot open capture device /dev/video0: Permission denied
Thank you for using tvtime.
Any ideas or websites that would give step by step on how to fix this junk. I would be in debt to you if you could help me

fixed the needing to be root to get the program to work right. i got my screen a bit more clear but there are still lines running down the screen every inch.
edit: JUST FIXED SOUND MUAHAHAHAH |

root@localhost dev # modprobe tuner type=2
root@localhost dev # modprobe bttv card=63
is there anyway to get this stuff to startup with my computer so i dont have to type it everytime i start my computer up?
just unfixed needing to be root to make the tv work |

Add two lines to /etc/modules.autoload:
Code: |
tuner type=2
bttv card=63
|
Then run 'update-modules'. |
