Thanks for the help, ive finally successfully installed gentoo. It was worth it, i've learned so much about linux in the past few days. I feel like ive just climbed mount everest! |

Thanks, what i find funny about gentoo is that the install seems so "unuserfriendly" but once you get it working, its easier to use than mandrake. |

I find it easier to use than redhat, because even though its CLI, the tools actually work! |

It does take a little longer than Mandrake due to the compiling etc, but the feel of installing and customising distro can't be denied.... _________________ Aerosolo ergo sum - I spray therefore I am

Congratulations. I find the hardest part for me is keeping my experimenting with it to a minimum but that's a good problem. |
