another Installing behind http proxy topic

I'm going to be setting up a system behind an http proxy, so I've been searching the boards on this topic, I've learned that I can set the proxy= in make.conf so that i will be able to download packages from ftp and ibiblio

I've also learned that I can use emerge-webrsync from the gentoolkit package to do rsync over the web.

Theres one thing missing though: what about packages that get source from CVS?
As far as I'm aware it isnt possible to get stuff from CVS though a http proxy, and a few packages get source from CVS.

Only relevant topic I've found is this not exactly enouraging .
Can anyone help?
