Hi everybody , i'm alred,
A simple software FileGarden 1.2.2b stable had been released.
Hopes that it can be usefull to everybody.Request and advice welcome.
It is a linux graphical software written to ease those dull and repetitive
tasks in converting and processing images, text to postscript, text to
pdf, images to ps or pdf, video files, music files etc.It can run any commands
and view any system files from the menu. It's highly configurable.
The files conversion and processing was not written from scratch and built into
the sofware. The software just try run those well tried and battled commands from
complex programs like ImageMagick, netpnm,Ghostscript and enscript and do it job.
This software is just a mockup of a graphical interface to host external program's
commands.
The conversion and processing commands are not built into the program, you
will be the one who add in the commands to suit your needs through a configuration
file.A graphical configuration frame will be plug-in in the future.Right now
the programs only comes with those commands for ImageMagick, netpnm and enscript.
Since version 1.2.2B,a front-end for page formating with enscript with page
preview had been added, plus a first time installation gui for the program.
