I just emerged a new kernel, vanilla-sources (2.4.25) and when I tried emerge nvidia-kernel, I see a green star and then Linux 2.4.25, Source unpacked.,Unable to detect Kernel Version
make: *** [select makefile] Error1
Any idea? this is the first time it ever happen =( |

Do you have a symlink /usr/src/linux that points to the location of your kernel source tree? |

Yes, right now I<m unmerging the kernel source, I'll make sure its completely wiped out , then I'll emerge it again, compile, install, emerge nvidia-kernel and see..
Is there any kernel specific options that nvidia-kernel NEEDS (exept MTTR that I know) |
