According to
http://dev.gentoo.org/~brad_mssw/amd64-tech-notes.html
You are not supposed to use -fPIC in CFLAGS right?
So why does /etc/make.profile/make.defaults make it my default? I know /etc/make.conf overrides it but why have an incorrect default, or am I missing something.
If this is correct should I be creating a bug report against netpbm
(version 10.11.25 will only compiles with -fPIC and 10.20 overrides my flags an puts it in anyway ) |
