Hey, I compiled xfree4.4 from source and all seems well... except one thing. Xfree4.3 keeps showing up on a lot of my applications! Such as fluxbox and fvwm and xcdroast.
How do I add xfree as already installed so portage doesnt keep trying to compile it? _________________ Ph33R mY l337 H|_|R|) 0F G|\||_|Z!! |

Basically, the problem is that you installed X outside of portage, which is OK, but there's things you need to do to let portage know that you have X installed even though it doesn't "remember" installing it.
Code: | emerge unmerge xfree
emerge -i xfree |
