Something tells me that the Atheros Athlon64 driver won't be ready for some time, so for the time being, can anybody recommend a good PCMCIA 802.11A (or preferably A/G) card which has available a fully OSS Athlon64-compatible driver?
/usr/src/linux-2.6.4-rc1/drivers/net/wireless/ seems to have plenty of drivers, but some are reportedly unfinished or unmaintained according to http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_Tourrilhes/Linux/ (and none seem to have much information regarding Athlon64 compatibility)
Any anecdotal good/bad experiences with wireless would also be appreciated. _________________ The greatest deeds are still undone, the greatest songs are still unsung... |
