Ok... I'll ask... Did anyone got flash to work with NPTL? Mine segfaults :-(

Works fine.

This is my problem. Netscape-flash needs lib-compat but:
Code:
$ /usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3
Segmentation fault

Can anyone help me with this? Is there any alternative flash player that doesn't use lib-compat?

Many thanks in advance,
Norberto

Dunno if this is any help, but attempting to directly execute that shared library segfaults for me too, even though netscape-flash-6.0.79 is working for me with NPTL using firefox-0.8

Ok. After a re-emerge of netscape-flash AND kdebase, I have flash running now.

Thank you!

I've tried re-emerging netscape flash as well as libcompat and mozill but haven't had any luck whatsoever. Does anyone else have any tips?

UPDATE: mysteriously it works as root, but as my user it fails. I tried erasing ~/.mozilla. I created a fresh user that it works for as well. Is there anything besides .mozilla that may be screwing things up?
