How can I configure a proxy. Because there is one between me and the internet. I just can't get outside and I wasn't able to find a post which can tell me how to do this from command shell only. |

The Gentoo Install Handbook contains instructions for setting up a web proxy.
If you mean that is the only way you can "connect" to the Internet then you'll also have to use webrsync to sync your portage tree, since it won't proxy the rsync connection. _________________ >>> emerge (3 of 7) mcse/70-293 to /
