PostPosted: Thu Mar 04, 2004 5:24 pm    Post subject: flushbox: screen flickering. Reply with quote

Just installed gentoo for my first time and thought I should try out flushbox as it was recommended by a friend.. All goes well when I type in startx but when it enters it start flickers and malplaces the screen like it's a bad driver or something. and if I try to use the keyboard or mouse it blackens out to (i guess) re render position for the mouse or write something and stays black for like 5 secs then go back to flickering..

I'm no expert but it will help people who view this thread (now that we know what your vid card is) if you could post the relevant section of your /etc/X11/XF86Config file
