i have openoffice.org and ximian openoffice installed in separate folders, and they both have separate profile folders in my home folder.

The main problem I am having involves data entry in XOOCalc:
Whenever i enter data into a cell and press either enter or tab I would expect it to go down or to the side. Instead, it just highlights the current cell and seems to expect me to change it again.

OpenOffice works fine the way i want it to, but i like XOpenOffice quite a bit more, and would rather unmerge OpenOffice instead of having to work between the two. Does anyone know of an option somewhere inside of Calc?

Thanks

AFAICT, The way Ximian OOo Calc works is that to enter a block of data you are expected to select the block first and then start typing; Enter or Tab will move you around within that block. If you just select a single cell then that's all there is to the block.
This might seem a little weird but do note that you can use Left and Down as you would expect.
