I'd like to start an instance of konsole on the 6th virtual desktop in kde 3.1.4. I have a link to konsole in ~/.kde3.1/Autostart/ that takes care of starting it. Is there a way I can force it to open on the 6th desktop (named "Term")? |

Works in KDE 3.2, I assume it works in 3.14.
Code: | kstart --desktop 6 konsole |

Thanks for the tip... I was initially pleased to see that running "kstart --desktop 6 konsole" had the desired result.
I added this command and a couple of similar ones to ~/.kde3.1/Autostart/. When I restarted KDE, everything ended up on the wrong desktop. I'm not sure if this is a bug in KDE if if there is another solution or workaround that i'm not aware of.
