progressbar

I've just started bootstraping and I think it would be nice with some kind of progress bar (instead of make/gcc messages, or having them both), that can tell how far the compilation has come. Is it 45 hours left or 20 minutes?

I'm afraid you'll have to tac that onto the huge list of portage "things to-do". Until then, don't get a headache from watching compiler output too much...
