Hi. I've set up sound successfully using ALSA and the doc guide here

However, every time I reboot or log back in the CD channel volume is set to zero. All the other volume settings remain the same. Obviously I can set it back again using

Code:
mixer set CD 70 unmute

or using alsamixer, but it's a real pain in the backside!

Can anyone give me some help on this - even if it's just the location of a file into which I can insert the 'mixer set' command so that it runs on bootup?

Cheers.

If you have set alsa to run on stratup with rc-update, I don't see why its not restoring ayour CD volume when it restores the others, but a file to put stuff like that mixer command in is /etc/init.d/local I think.
