Trouble with mkisofs

Please Help!

I have a dvd of family home movies I had made from 8mm. I just got a dvd burner, and I am trying to make a backup. I have used dvdbackup to create a backup on the hardrive. This works fine - I can play the dvd from the hard drive.

Now I am trying to burn it to dvd. The first step seems to be to use mkisofs to create a .iso, but this fails for me. The error is:

mkisofs: Either the *.IFO file is bad or you found a mkisofs bug.


Any ideas?
