i'm starting with a stage 1 installand.
While doing the bootstrap.sh, i get an error :
ERROR: sys-devel/gettext-0.12.1 failed
function src_compile, Line 50, Exitcode 2
the first error line give me a no such instruction: 'stol'
any idea why?  |

Try doing an 'emerge sync' again, and then retry emerge system. Gentoo is constantly being updated, and while rare, occasionally things will break. They are usually corrected quickly though.
