/* fixed, it is none seen on cat /proc/bus/usb/devices. Now time to get ti working with alsa */

I am completly lost on this. And I don't know where to really start, in my kernel i have
Code:
CONFIG_USB_AUDIO=y
CONFIG_SND_USB_AUDIO=m

When I plug the headset in to the box and I try
Code:
cat /proc/bus/usb/devices

it only shows
Code:
T:  Bus=01 Lev=00 Prnt=00 Port=00 Cnt=00 Dev#=  1 Spd=480 MxCh= 6
B:  Alloc=  0/800 us ( 0%), #Int=  0, #Iso=  0
D:  Ver= 2.00 Cls=09(hub  ) Sub=00 Prot=01 MxPS= 8 #Cfgs=  1
P:  Vendor=0000 ProdID=0000 Rev= 2.06
S:  Manufacturer=Linux 2.6.3 ehci_hcd
S:  Product=EHCI Host Controller
S:  SerialNumber=0000:00:02.2
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=40 MxPwr=  0mA
I:  If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=09(hub  ) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=hub
E:  Ad=81(I) Atr=03(Int.) MxPS=   2 Ivl=256ms

I have found a few threads on setting up a usb audio device and I have edited my /etc/modules.d/alsa like they have all said, but I am not even seeing this device with it is connected. I have hotplug emerged and running b/c I am using it to load nvnet. I don't really know a lot obout linux and usb so I don't know really were to go from here. I know the device works in linux, b/c I got it working in knoppix and overclockix (2.6 kernel)

I am running on 2.6.3 kernel

TIA

/*edit: I want to set this up as a secondary device*/
