Does anyone recognize these errors I get from Samba?

I've seen those too, they seem to be related to windows machines wandering off the network.
Haven't seemed to hurt the performance or reliabilty, though. |

Hmm.. That windows machine has been nothing but trouble. Sometimes it finds shares on my samba box, sometimes it doesn't.
Why wont it route through my switch? Anybody that knows why windows behaves like this? |

Are they on the same subnet? If not, you may want to investigate the "remote announce =" parameter in the smb.conf.
Also, making your samba server a wins server can help; then add the samba server's IP address as a WINS server under TCP/IP properties on the windows box. |
