That's my question? I want to install transparent proxy for my local network (about 12 users). And I don't know what is the best choice to do this: Squid or SquidGuard????

And what is the best howto for install transparent proxy on gentoo?

Can anybody tell me their opinion... thanks!

SquidGuard is an addon to Squid. Squid should handle what you want to do nicely; it has documentation on how to set up transparent proxying.

It would be better to use non-transparent proxying though, as you can get some unexpected behaviors otherwise.
