That's my question? I want to install transparent proxy for my local network (about 12 users). And I don't know what is the best choice to do this: Squid or SquidGuard????
And what is the best howto for install transparent proxy on gentoo?
Can anybody tell me their opinion... thanks! ![Wink ](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

SquidGuard is an addon to Squid. Squid should handle what you want to do nicely; it has documentation on how to set up transparent proxying.
It would be better to use non-transparent proxying though, as you can get some unexpected behaviors otherwise. |
