It would seem that something is messing up the root of the file system and I can't stop it. See for yourself: | Code: | # ls / -lha
?rwxr-xr-x 19 root root 488 Feb 6 17:00 /

(and the slash appear green, as if it was an executable file).
I can reboot with Knoppix, do reiserfsck fix-fixable. When I come back, the root file system is marked again as a directory, but it's not always 755 and sometime the user/group are changed.
Fudging them to proper settings works ok, but after a while it will break again... over and over again. This is my fourth time in 48 hours. Pretty annoying.
Any clue?
