Hi !

I have installed my Gentoo recently, it appears to work well. but i can't open any openoffice program: it seems to launch but never appear on screen and close immediatly.

I have unmerged and emerged twice, just in case, but it always does the same thing

can anyone help me ?

g enlevé mon ~/.openoffice mais ca marche pas mieux

j'aurais peut etre du préciser aussi que je suis en utilisateur
quoiqu'il en soit, avant, ca marchait pas mieux en root, mais avec mon install d'hier, ca marche... mais toujours pas en utilisateur


dyurne: ouè, merci pour la remarque ! c mon premier topic et je savais pas où il se retrouverait :oops: ... g préféré jouer la carte de l'anglophone.... promis, je continue en vrai francais :)

pas de problème, c'était pas un reproche.

quand tu ouvres ta console préférée et que tu tapes oowriter il te donne un message d'erreur précis ou il ne se passe absolument rien ?

I'm confused because I can't find OpenOffice's user files.
Your ~/.sversionrc file tells they should be under /root/.openoffice/1.1.0,
but they are not. Please fix the situation manually.
You may want to edit ~/.sversionrc to indicate where is OO
installed, or remove it if you did remove your installation
directory manually (you bad one).


et voilà ce qui est donné dans le .sversionrc:
[Versions]
OpenOffice.org 1.1.0=file:///root/.openoffice/1.1.0


effectivement, c bien installé à cet endroit .... y a moyen de le mettre ailleurs facilement ?

essaye rm ~/.sversionrc puis oowriter
