I use Gentoo 2004.0 , 2.6.3 kernel, kde 3.2
When I try to boot up with both usb kb/mouse +ps2 kb, it will freeze up at starting USB and PCI hotplugging, when booting up without ps2 kb, it will load up all the way into kde but then neither the mouse nor the kb will respond. (mouse works w/o usb kb however).
I checked menuconfig, everything looks good, HID support is enabled under USB as well as HID Layer. changed from M to * not that it matters really...i had double checked that UHCI is also installed.
i've tried many things, i'll be glad to hear any ideas you have. _________________ Computers are like Air-Conditioners. Once you open windows they stop working. |

Hmm, will buying a p/s2 keyboard instead be considered cheating? : p _________________ Computers are like Air-Conditioners. Once you open windows they stop working. |
