Hi all,
I'm trying to get my Radeon Mobility 9000 to use it's SVIDEO as either the primary output, or in clone mode. I can't use dual display because 'xv' does not work in dual display (using ATI's FGLRX driver)
I have fglrx 3.7.0 installed and when I configured it with TV Mode on, Clone mode on, with laptop as the primary and TV as the secondary the config generates with no errors.
When I 'startx' I get picture on my screen (at 640x480 as specified), but the TV just has a jumpy picture with static on it. Like the resolution is too high. I'm in the states and have it set ot NTSC-N.
Any tips? Any working configs?
I have an IBM Thinkpad T41p.
TIA,

Greetings!
I have a t41p myself, with a mobility FireGL T2. Can you please post your Xfree86config-4.
Do you have 3d hardware acceleration running or not yet?

3D acceleration will not work unless you use the package media-video/ati-drivers. That package is out of date though. I manually installed 3.7.0 from ATI's website.
My T41p does not have a mobility FireGL T2. It has a Mobility 9000 M9.
Please create another thread for your issue and PM me, I'll paste my config in there. Since you have a different question I'd rather not get the two mixed together.
I really need to get this svideo working. _________________ Tell your ISP to support SPF/SASL AUTH (http://spf.pobox.com) today! |
