Can anyone tell me how to get a Voodoo 3 running on Gentoo Linux?
I compiled DRI and the voodoo dri drivers into my kernel, added
Load "glx"
Load "dri"
to my XF86Config file,
emerged glide-v3 and mesa (which whouldn't compile), downloaded the glide headers from dri.sourceforge.net and now i get following error when i type glxinfo:
"gd error (glide): gd error (glide): grSstSelect: non-existent SSTgd error (glide): grSstSelect: non-existent SSTSegmentation fault"
if i comment the "Load DRI" line out i get:
[...]OpenGL renderet string: Mesa GLX Indirect
OpentGL version string: 1.2 Mesa 3.4.2[...] |
