Printing the installation guide

I think this counts as a not-GUI question...

I'm trying to print the most recent version of the entire Gentoo installation guide, and I don't see an easy way to do it like you used to... It's obvious how to print it section by section, but I'd rather not do it that way if possible. <Ctrl>-P once and give me the entire thing, please.

Am I missing something?

i had this same problem when attempting to print the manual about two weeks ago. I danced around the issue for a week, but could not find a solution. Unfortunately you may have to just print it section by section

You do have to print it one section at a time. There is a link at the top of each section that will put it in a more "printer friendly" display so it's easier to read.

One way, if you are on a Windows box is to use Acrobat to save the docs from the first page of the installation manual to a pdf document (and tell Acrobat to fetch link docs) then print the whole thing from Acrobat.

On the installation cd, there is already a pdf document of the handbook in /docs

As simulacrum mentioned there is a way to print the entire handbook easily. An overview on the available formats can be found at http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook which also includes the FAQ on the Gentoo Handbook.
