I don't know if this will fix your problem or not, but I found this thread:

I was having the same problem. looks like this may fix it for you (if you are using ATI precompiled drivers):

#opengl-update ati

If not, give us some more info. Let us know what your setup is, are you using ATI drivers? Chipset? Graphics card?
