I am having a problem getting simple text to display when i try to boot my fresh install. Everything works fine while it is booted from the cd but as soon as i remove the cd and reboot, everything is all jumbled. It is not within xserv as it dosent even fuly boot.

I am using a rage pro agp (msi).

If anyone can direct me to a config file or a posible driver of some sort that world be very helpful.

Check your kernel config - disable all framebuffer options.
Modify your bootloader config to just read:
Code:
vga=normal

Make sure your console locale is set to your own.

Those are the first things I would check.
