I've just upgraded from kernel 2.4.22-r7 to kernel 2.6.3-r2, in 2.4 i managed to get my modem working without any problems using a 2.4 specific driver (slmdm-2.7.14). Now i'm trying to use 'slmodem-2.9.5' which has 2.6 support.

'make' and 'make install' works fine, but:

# modprobe slamr

FATAL: Error insertig slamr (/lib/modules/2.6.3-gentoo-r2/extra/slamr.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

# dmesg
...
slamr: module license 'Smart Link Ltd.' taints kernel.
slamr: Unknown symbol cli
slamr: Unknown symbol restore_flags
slamr: Unknown symbol save_flags

And the module does not load :?

Any help would be appritiated :D. And if there is any information i have left out just ask for it.

Thank you
