Ok, I have never setup a 32-bit environment within a 64-bit, so I have some questions. First of all, I have emerged emul-libs and recompiled GCC with multilib.
1)I realize that I need to chroot into the 32-bit environment once I get it untarred, once I get in, what do I need to setup? I read the instructions, but "...Continue the installation according to the manual. You can skip most parts after stage3. " is kinda kicking my a$$. I mean, do I have to emerge a new kernel or what?
2)I have copied the resolv.conf, and setup a user, and mounted /tmp, but when I issue the "linux32 /gentoo32(the directory I set up) /bin/bash --login", I chroot but I am not presented with a login. Am I supposed to get a login?
3)I emerged wine within the 32-bit environment, everything went fine, but when I attempted to "xhost +localhost", I receive an error message stating that it can't login into the xhost.
I will be the first to state that sometimes (ok, more than sometimes) I am prone to brain-farts, and I believe that I having one right now.
Really, I just wanna be able to run TCM 2004 and maybe Fifa 2004. If anybody can help, thanks. If not and you just wanna flame me, I probably deserve it.
