Hi all,
I have a secondary ethernet card in my gentoo box. lspci says it's a winbond 89C840 card. What driver does that card need? Googling and gentoo-forums searching tells me it needs the "winbond-840" module, but how do I know what driver that is (in menuconfig)? It is not a NE2000 driver. But then what is it?

I too am having this exact same problem. Any help would be appreciated.
BTW, lsmod also lists mii as part of the winbond-840 _________________ My Folding@home Stats!
