I am running kernel 2.6.3-rc1 and emergeed kde-3.2.0.
Before emerging kde, I was able to start the default Xsession.
After emerging KDE, I changed /etc/rc.conf , sessionmanager to KDM and session to kde-3.2.0.
KDM does start but when I try to log-in , The dcopserver fails to start.
I get the error message
Quote: | DcopClient:attachInternal Attach Failed Authentication Rejected. None of the
authentication protocols specified are supported and host based authentication
failed. Ice Connection Rejected. |
Now I am not even able to start the default Xsession, I get error message in my home directory in file .xsesssion-errors
/usr/X11R6/bin/iceauth :- /tmp/<some ranodm file> : bad "add" command.
ANyone knows what's happening
