I just did a new install on a Gericom Masterpiece notebook. With the 2004.0 liveCD everything worked fine, but after the first reboot with kernel gentoo-dev-sources/gentoo-2.6.3-r1 the keyboard showed a very strange problem:

The Fn-key has a reversed function now!

This Fn-key allows shifting some keys to emulate a separate number-keyblock, so when pressing the following keys give other results:

0 -> *
u -> 4
i -> 5
o -> 6
p -> -
j -> 1
k -> 2
l -> 3
ö -> +
m -> 0
. -> ,
- -> /

When pressing and holding this Fn-key now, it gives the normal key-layout, when not holding the Fn-key, it gives the function-key.

Anyone any idea, how to fix this?

I already played arround in the rc.conf without any result
