Can anybody recommend a fully hardware accelerated ATA raid controller card that is well supported under Linux?
Also, are there drivers that work with the 865/875 chipset based ones? (even those people say they are software driven). |

Try 3ware. They have Linux drivers for all their RAID-adapters, and I think this is reason to support them.
If You are seated in or near Germany, You can purchase those adapters at tuxhardware
