after runnin XFree86 -configure and copying it to the correct placei get an error running startx.

Code:

XIO: fatal io error 104 (connection reset by peer) on x server ":0.0" after 0 requests (0 processed) with 0 events remaining

also above this error i see

Code:

(EE) color depth can not be suppported at 24
(EE)Screens found but not in a usable configuration

i also tried doing it the manual way also but it ended up the same. Please help!!!!!!!!!!1
