Hey guys, question for you... This friend of mine uses windows, and me and another friend are pretty sure her AIM conversations are being spied on by this kid who has a crush on her, not to mention he is a drama queen. There are just too many things he knows that we've never told him and we've only talked about on AIM.
I've been doing some research on it, and I've found that system admins can do it with a variety of different progs if they're on the same network... otherwise the most common way to do it would be to infect her computer with a trojan and install a program like aimspy that will let him see her convos.
I would like to confirm whether or not he really is, and have some proof. Do you know if the trojan method is the only way he would be doing it, if he is. Or is there some way to intercept her packets on the way to the aol servers if he knows her ip address?
Any light you can shed upon this subject would be greatly appreciated

Well aim now supports directing packets to multiple clients, so maybe he just ogs in as your friend and gets to see the conversation as well. Can your friend try changing her password? |
