Hallo,
ich habe ein Problem mit der Erkennung meiner Digitalkamera Nikon Coolpix 4500. Digikam ist installiert, im Kernel USB Mass Storage Device Support installiert aber die Kamera wird am USB-Port offensichtlich nicht erkannt. Das ist die Meldung:

Hat einer eine Idee? Fehlt mir noch ein Kernelmodul?

da du dich ja wundervoll darüber ausschweigst was du alles in deinen kernel eingebaut hast kann man dir so nicht helfen, und um ehrlich zu sein bin ich es auch leid immer wieder darauf zu verweisen das man bei fragestellungen ein wenig mehr verbose sein soll...
also... sei mal ein wenig mehr verbose, dann wird sich schon zeigen ob das hier jemand weiss, des weiteren: es gibt jede menge threads über digitalkameras via usb unter linux. such doch mal.

Hi!
Ich denke, es kann gut sein, daß Deine Kamera erkannt wird; soweit ich weiß, sind spezielle Module nie nötig, wenn die Cam den USB Mass Storage standard unterstützt. Was Du auf jeden Fall ich kernel noch brauchst ist scsi unterstützung allgemein und scsi disc support. Wahrscheinlich arbeitest Du auch mit devfs; in diesem Fall wird sehr kurz nach dem Erkennen der Cam ein scsi-device angelegt, bei mir /dev/sda, und mit mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/digicam geht's dann los..
Probier's mal aus.
