drag 'n' drop causes desktop reload

I have a strange problem which is haunting me for some time now. Sometimes when I add some mp3 files from Konqueror to Xmms via drag 'n' drop, the icons on the desktop disappear. It takes about two seconds until they show up again. The background image does not disappear during that process. This problem survived several KDE and X recompiles and upgrades. I am currently using KDE 3.2.1 and XFree 4.3.0.

Any idea?

I had that problem in 3.1.4. I haven't used 3.2.x so much so I don't know if the problem still resides. I have no idea why it does that. I just accepted it and thought it's a bug which hopefully will be fixed in an upcoming version.

Another problem is when drag-and-drop mp3's to xmms and the mouse passes a open window with Konqueror web browser. It always makes my Konqueror to crash. Also verry annoying.

Mine used to do this, doesn't seem to do it anymore though or at least I haven't noticed it recently and trying it just now it's certainly not doing it. Never really bothered me though, just something I noticed.
